OnDeck simplifies the loan borrowing process with financial services videos

About OnDeck

OnDeck is the largest small business lender in the U.S. Since 2007, they’ve issued over $10 billion in loans for many business needs including inventory purchase, equipment acquisition, hiring, and general corporate purposes.

The Challenge

OnDeck wanted to use animated videos in its marketing strategy.

Through videos, the company wanted to convey how they provide fast and simple business financing to busy and underserved business owners

OnDeck also wanted to talk about how it gives business owners a feeling of control and security knowing they can get financing when they need it.

The objective was to simplify the concept and keep it engaging.

Their target audience was small business owners in North America who are looking for financial help to grow their businesses.

As financial terms relating to lending and borrowing can be technical, it was important to break it down and simplify it for the layman.

Another challenge was that most finance videos are long and boring and cannot grab or keep the user's attention.

The Solution

OnDeck followed a customer-centric approach throughout the series of animated infographic videos we made for them.

They help businesses, no matter how big or small they are, with tailor-made financing solutions. Financial Services videos helped reflect that by addressing the viewers' pain points without boring them with technicalities.

This helped the company connect with its audience and present itself as an approachable entity.

The videos also helped the company build trust by presenting itself as an industry leader who has been helping businesses with their financing needs over the years.

OnDeck was able to grab the attention of its audience and keep them engaged with our short videos.

With the clever use of brand colors, the videos were given an identity that resonated with OnDeck.
