What Makes These Animation Videos Great?

These are some examples of great animation videos.

But what really makes them “great”?

What can you take from these videos and implement in your video marketing strategies?

Here are 4 things that make the listed animation videos great:

1. Attention Grabbing

These videos are very colorful, which are aimed at grabbing attention.

For instance, if you’re scrolling through your social media feed, these videos will make you stop and pay attention.

This is an important aspect, especially today when you aren’t just competing with your direct competitors but also thousands and thousands of other brands who are focused on grabbing your audience’s attention.

So, even if you’re in e-commerce, you’re competing with news and publishing companies who also want people’s attention and time.

So, your animation videos should be unique and visually striking, making people stop on their course and take notice.

2. Outstanding Storytelling

Indeed, animation videos can fit in at any stage of your marketing funnel. They can be just as effective in driving direct sales. However, storytelling is their biggest power.

And the listed animation videos above have tapped on this power pretty well.

They have great stories with a ‘hero’ and ‘villain’, which makes these videos more interesting, engaging, and entertaining. This is what you need.

Your visuals should be glued together meaningfully with a great story that’s relevant to the audience you’re targeting.

Remember, a good animation video is all about visuals. A great animation video is all about the story.

The better the story you’re telling (in terms of its relevance and in achieving the defined goals), the more successful that animation video will be.

3. Emotion Driven

People don’t remember information-focused videos; not at least very easily. They remember emotion-driven videos that leave them with an “experience”.

The latter is what you want for higher audience engagement, enhanced brand identity and recall, and better conversion.

Note that many viewers won’t easily remember the content of a documentary, but they would easily recall a regular movie. Because the latter made them “feel” something.

The above-mentioned animation videos have great stories attached to them that are based on emotions.

They are aimed at making you feel emotions. And this is what you want in your animation videos; especially your brand videos.

Make sure your animation videos have emotional elements that make people connect to them.

4. Made by Experts

The listed videos aren’t a product of DIY efforts.

These animation videos are made by experts who specialize in different aspects of making animation videos, right from writers and storyboard artists to modelers, character designers, and more.

This means if you want something like this, the DIY steps won’t be much helpful.

Even if you invest in some premium video-making tools that offer adequate features, the final output would still fall short of delivering the same results that you’re looking at in the listed videos.

So, take your time to find a good video production company that specializes in animation.

Make sure they have extensive experience in catering to businesses like yours.

Final Words

Inspiration isn’t difficult to find. Worthy inspiration, however, is something you will have to work for.

Hopefully, the amazing animation videos we curated in this post were that “worthy inspiration” that inspires you to create your next animated video that’s phenomenal in every aspect.

Good luck!
